We are proud to continue to be the Official Holiday Partner to Vallnord Bike Park; one of the most famous and respected bike parks in the World, and a must-ride destination for riders from right around the planet. Vallnord annually hosts MTB World Cups and the annual Maxiavalanche race is sister event to the infamous Megavalanche. The park is more than capable of rivalling any other in Europe – it sprawls across the mountain with a huge variety of trails, with everything from the THREE different World Cup tracks, super-fun north shore “Woodparks”, tabletop infested red trails, plus enormously long super-flowy blue and green trails all the way from the highest point on the top of the mountain to the bottom of the valley. From the top of the park the trails drops a huge distance, and over 1000m vertically, to the busy town of La Massana below! Andorran Commencal Bikes, and our friend Cedric Gracia have been integral in designing the trails at Vallnord – voted by Pinkbike recently as one of the Top 5 of World-class riding destinations.
The park changes and grows annually, with the constant addition of new trails and redesigns. It is also decpetively big when you look at a park map – do you realise that Vallnord’s biggest trail is 1100m vertically top to bottom (twice the size of they biggest in Morzine!), and 10km long? That is EPIC…
