Andorra is now firmly on the MTB destination map, and yes we can proudly say that it’s because we have worked really hard to let riders know all about this tiny, but perfectly formed biking paradise. 9 years ago very few people had heard of Andorra, other than as a winter sports destination…but from the moment we first rode there nearly a decade ago we could see it’s enormous potential! As soon as we set Singletrack Safari up we knew we wanted to shout from the mountaintops about the place..it really is perfect; huge unspoilt mountains, perfect natural singletrack, some of the best bikeparks in Europe, meditereanean weather, fantastic people, cheap prices, great food…there’s a lot to love. And as soon as MBR, Dirt (and recently MBUK) came and rode with us and gave us rave reviews we knew we were onto a winner!
Since then our Andorra Altitude guided holiday has gained incredible momentum – and we reached a point where we were sold out EVERY week during our June/September season there, so we knew that we would have to extend the number of weeks available…but demand was so high in 2016 for July and August that we expanded our season into all weeks of July and August too. 2015 saw Andorra host the MTB World Championships in September, in 2016 it played host to the last round of the World Cup – and in 2017 the Word Cup returns in July so it’s going to be another BIG YEAR across the board – and we are tied right into the heart of it.
We are the Official Travel Partner to both Vallnord Bike Park and Soldeu Bike Park and we also work closely with the Andorra Tourist Board and local businesses such as Riders Boutique who are our preferred Bike Hire Partner. In addition to the guided Andorra Altitude holiday we also offer amazingly cheap Bike Park packages at both Vallnord and Soldeu – which are a super-popular option for the Gravity crowd!
