Commencal are based in Andorra; they design and develop their bikes on the same trails as we ride all summer! The hire location is in central La Massana, near to the Commencal Spot Bar and Restaurant. The Spot is our favourite place to hang out post-ride each day, and has an amazing atmosphere – plus the best range of beer in town, great food, live music, DJs, parties and a very chilled deck area to relax in the sun!

The different sized 29/27-inch wheels make the bike much more balanced, specifically relating to grip – the large 29-inch wheel on the front allows more confidence and rolling capacity whilst the 27.5-inch rear wheel offers more manoeuvrability and responsiveness.

The CLASH has 170 mm of travel and 27.5″ wheels, and is designed for one thing and one thing only – having fun!

The CLASH is the ‘do everything’ bike – bike parks, enduro, big jump lines or pedalling missions… It is exceedingly versatile!!

In addition to descending at full gas, the CLASH knows how to pedal to get to the trailhead when the lift is closed.

The CLASH XS has been specifically designed for smaller riders looking for an ultimately playful bike and who measure up to 1.60m. The different sized 27/26 inch wheels lower the bike for smaller riders, but the spec shows this is a serious bike, just scaled down!

The Virtual Pivot Point kinematics are specifically designed for smaller people and provides comfort and grip.

Sizing Guide

  • XS – suits riders from 4’10” to 5’3″ / 148cm to 160cm (Clash only)
  • Small – suits riders from 5’2″ to 5’7″ / 158cm to 170cm
  • Medium – suits riders from 5’6″ to 5’11” / 168cm to 180cm
  • Large – suits riders from 5’10” to 6’3″ / 178cm to 190cm
  • X-Large suits riders from 6’2″ to 6’11” / 188cm to 210cm

Sizes are approximate – e.g. DH bikes can run smaller, so if you are at the top of the height range indicated go for the next size up. If you want a more lively trail bike go smaller, for a more stable bike go larger.
