Guest Reviews

Our guests absolutely love what we do – but don’t take our word for it – see what some of them have to say about us below in our Singletrack Safari review section! We have also featured in lots of magazines and other publications over the years – these have their own page dedicated to them…

very well organized and professionally run and most importantly the riding was awesome!

Thanks Singletrack Safari for a fantastic week on the Andorra trip! The trip was very well organized and professionally run and most importantly the riding was awesome! The variety of trails  in Andorra was great with everything from bike parks to wilderness rides that you’d never find without local knowledge. There were enough roots, rocks and fast runs to keep it very interesting but also some breathtaking scenery to take in and catch your breath! Fantastic trip and highly recommend to bikers of all abilities (our group covered XC whippets to DH maniacs and there was something for everyone!). See you again next year!

All I can say is absolutely fantastic!!! It was literally the best holiday i have ever had.

All I can say is absolutely fantastic!!! It was literally the best holiday i have ever had.

I was kind of expecting bike tracks similar to the forestry commission ones here in the UK but the trails where a million times better. All natural rocky trails with roots and very technical riding especially on the last day. Such a great challenge and just what i was looking for.

The accommodation was also great, in fact could not have been better.

Your guides were amazing…very friendly and knowledgeable and a great laugh too especially on the Tuesday nights drinking game 🙂

I travelled around the world for my trip..and it was absolutely worth it. Treat yourself - Do it!!

Surely the best value guided tour…. Covering all the must ride locations and a few secret ones too! Martin as owner/operator gives you a personalized tour of the best trails on offer, he knows it so well. But where he really deserves accolades is his willingness to help. We were a group of 6 Kiwis and he helped us with insurance, bike builds, blown fork seals, a lost passport, translating and police reports! Yep we challenged him and he just kept on delivering help and amazing tracks every day. It was like riding with a friend for the week. He is a fast skilled rider both up and down. We descended over 35,000 feet in 6 days and loved every minute of it. Great guy and amazing value!!

(Downsides?) Absolutely None. But make sure you let Martin know what type of riding your into so that he can customize each day to your style. Nothing is set in concrete on this trip and you get the most out of it, letting him know your preferences.

I’ve never done a guided mtb tour before, but can’t imagine that many could have offered the service that Martin did. He has accommodation sorted ingreat locations, is friends with the locals and enables you to really live the  lifestyle. He really gets to know you and what sort of riding you prefer. He puts a lot of effort and thought into each day, changing the format depending on weather forecasts, rider fitness, skill level etc. And even caters for different skill levels in the same group. On the day off he was able to put together a loop for us to follow which got us to some great singletrack and an extra day on the bike. This isn’t just a job for Martin, he shares the same enthusiasm for each trail as if it was the first. He knows bikes and was able to help us out with tech issues. Other guides would have been lost in the mechanics of 3 sets of dampening units spread across the bench top…

Surely the most important aspect of any guide though; can they get you to the absolute best trails?? I travelled around the world for 35,000 vertical metres in 7 days. And it was absolutely worth it. Treat yourself – Do it!!

All in all, what a wonderful week - it was a much needed break for me. Great riding, great company..

I have now crash landed back to boring every day life in the UK after an amazing week.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team, and offer some feedback.

Firstly I want to say how great Jo and Stu were as guides. They were both really really lovely, organised some great rides and also joined us for drinks and dinner a few times. There was a very mixed ability in the group (me being the lower end of the scale) and the routes were a good mix for everyone. Both guides took it in turns to hang back with me at the back of the pack and gave me pointers to improve my riding, on many occasions being very patient with me taking several attempts at a switchback. At no point did I feel pressured and all the advice has really helped me to bring my riding on. By the end of the week, my riding was much smoother and I was hitting more technical stuff than when I arrived.

All in all, what a wonderful week – it was a much needed break for me. Great riding, great company and an amazing venue.

I look forward to my next adventure with Singletrack Safari.

We all got to ride the sort of trails we wanted, at the speed we wanted, as often as we could!

These guys will truly look after you, giving proper meaning to the words Host and Guest.

The trails in Andorra are brilliant, both in the Bike Parks and outside in the natural stuff. The weather is amazing, the hotel great and the food fantastic. We all got to ride the sort of trails we wanted, at the speed we wanted, as often as we could! Andorra is a truly amazing destination for all styles of mountain biking.

I can thoroughly recommend both Andorra and Singletrack Safari!

5 stars - thoroughly recommend it to anybody who loves challenging natural technical single track

Single track at its very best. A little while back I spent five years based in southern Germany and did a substantial amount of riding in the alps (including a couple of trans-alp trips). This year I had just a week to spare as part of a trip from New Zealand – so I wanted to make the absolute most out of it.

After a lot of research I selected Singletrack Safari’s guided week. Despite my expectations being set very high (I’ve never paid to be guided before) I am happy to say both the riding and the service throughout the week was superb – it substantially exceeding my expectations.

The riding on a couple of the days in particular was of such quality that I won’t try to describe it – but instead just thoroughly recommend it to anybody who loves challenging natural technical single track. Definitely 5 stars – must be done. One tip for those accustomed to pedalling to gain altitude – there isn’t much of that in this week – it’s about sweet downhill. Go with the flow and you’ll thoroughly enjoy it.

the land of huge mountains, beautiful singletrack, naughty switchbacks, burgers and beer!

Hope all is well in the land of huge mountains, beautiful singletrack, naughty switchbacks, burgers and beer!!

Apologies for only just getting around to this but just wanted to say a huge thank you to yourself and the team. Had an amazing time…and can’t help thinking we should have stayed longer.

Both bruv and I were more than happy with everything; easy transfer, stunning accommodation , hosts were ace, you guys were spot-on, and the trails some of the loveliest we’ve ridden! Returned home happy and content but was missing the place, the riding, and everyone we met pretty much instantly so will do what I can to keep in touch…

what a fantastic trip we had to Andorra and everything was organised to perfection...spot on.

Just wanted you to know what a fantastic trip we had to Andorra and everything was organised to perfection. The transfers, hotel , bike storage and lift passes were spot on. We will certainly use your services again for the next trip away!

I can't actually believe how smoothly it all went from transfers to hotel to the amazing riding

A quick email to thank you again for organising our recent trip out to Andorra. For a group of seven, I can’t actually believe how smoothly it all went, from the flights, transfers and hotel to the amazing trail network you have over there. Next time we may use your guiding skills and venture farther afield! We will certainly be recommending you to others thinking about Andorra for a biking destination.

"I love the place & will be back there to ride dusty, twisty flow-tastic trails hopefully very soon.."
